The annual Alachua County Veterans Stand Down is an event where organizations bring their resources to assist those homeless veterans in need and provide food, clothing and services for them.

The Gator Detachment has donated food which will be handed out.

This is held at the Martin Luther King Center, which is adjacent to Citizens Field and the near the VFW on Waldo Road in Gainesville. Setup begins at 8am. Doors are open from 9am to 1pm.
