2014 Marine Corps Birthday Ball

The Gator Detachment is hosting the 2014 Marine Corps Birthday Ball on November 8, 2014.  Social hour begins at 5pm with free beer and a cash bar, on-site photographer and opportunity to purchase raffle tickets for a variety of items to be drawn that night.

Marines will present a formal Birthday Ball Ceremony beginning at 6pm, featuring Guest of Honor Capt Rease Tatum, USMC Ret.  Dinner will follow with entree choices of Prime Rib, Roasted Chicken Breast, Mahi Mahi or Portabello Mushrooms, all served with complimentary vegetables, rolls, potatoes, dessert, coffee, tea, water and, of course, Birthday Cake.

Following dinner and a few acknowledgements, a USO Show will be performed, paying tribute to our veterans of the Korean War.  

The evening will be turned over to our DJ for music and dancing, with Marines and friends celebrating the 239th year of the Marine Corps.
