Birthday Ball Committee Meeting

On Saturday, July 13th, the Birthday Ball Committee will meet at Perkins - which is on Newberry Road between the Oaks Mall and I-75.  Meeting starts at 9:30.  We cannot reserve a table so the first people there should get a table for 8.  We can expand if necessary but we usually have no more than 8.

We are still evaluating table gifts to purchase (glassware versus something else.)  This will be after the "taste testing" with Chef Brothers on June 30th so we should have menu items selected.  

The Iwo Jima statues for the centerpieces were reviewed and look good.  Jim Hutto is checking on an appropriate challenge coin that can be given to each guest. 

We hope to have a block of rooms at the Gateway Grand in Gainesville in addition to the Holiday Inn Express in Alachua.

If you are working with any other area of the Ball and want to join us to either ask questions or give an update, we are glad to have everyone there.
