GatorDet Summer Celebration

This is a new event which could become an annual event.

It is simply a big party for a couple hundred Marines and friends to get together to celebrate the Marines' esprit de corps and the beginning of summer in our local communities.

The event will be held at the High Springs Brewery on Saturday, June 12th and paid admission will start at 5pm.  Seating will be outdoors. Masking and social distancing will be dictated by community standards at the time of the event.

There is no better place for Marines to celebrate than a brewery, "a tavern" if you will, just as the Corps was founded in a tavern so many years ago.

Entrance fee is $10 per person, payable at the gate.  We are providing a live band.  There will be two food trucks on site and the bar will be open for business.

This event will support the Gator Detachment's missions.  We ask you to support the TOYS FOR TOTS program by bringing a new, unwrapped toy in support of the kids.

High Springs Brewery will be making a donation to TOYS FOR TOTS based on their sales, so please come by, have fun and support our programs!!
